Conference Planning Grant - up to $3k
The Center will offer grants to groups of faculty to develop proposals for a conference or symposium to be held on campus. The conference or symposium must have public events that will attract participants other than the planning group. Proposals for conference grants should include potential speakers, an itemized budget, and a discussion of how the plan for the conference will enhance research in the humanities and arts at UC Merced. It should also outline other funding sources that will be approached or have been secured.
Requirements:
The planning group must include at least three faculty, but also potentially graduate students. Faculty from other UCs may also participate.
The planning group should engage faculty and graduate students from more than one undergraduate program/field of study.
Recipients must submit a report within 30 days of completion of their grant. Apply here.
