This workshop goes over the different forms of digitizing analog objects, from books to artifacts. Using open-source tools, we will cover the different types of image processing including rasterization, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), photogrammetry, and 3D Modeling. This workshop was developed for the digital humanities, but it is also useful for librarians, art historians, and digital archival curation.
Dr. Adam G. Anderson joined UC Berkeley in 2017 as a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in the Digital Humanities at Berkeley.
