This workshop will introduce podcasting as an alternative form of assignment and/or scholarly output as well as highlight some work being done in podcasting by humanists. It will outline the landscape of recommended software and hardware tools and walk through some hands-on exercises. This workshop is 2 hours long to accommodate exercises. Attendants are encouraged to bring their laptops!

Daniel Story is a Digital Scholarship Librarian at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and currently serves as Podcast Editor for The American Historical Review. His work is primarily focused on GIS, network analysis, text analysis, and digital storytelling. He holds a Ph.D. in History from Indiana University, Bloomington.
