We request nominations from faculty from across all schools for artists, writers, or musicians to come to UC Merced in order to develop a creative project that is relevant to our region and campus and that contributes to the humanities and arts with a focus on public engagement. The time period of the fellowship may be for one week to one semester, depending on the resources required for the project. Fellowships may begin as early as July 1, 2016. A committee from the Center will review nominations. Please contact humanities@ucmerced.edu with any questions. The nomination deadline is April 29, 2016.

A final project title would later be requested from the artist
Up to 200 words, including a vision for how the fellow might engage with the community.
