The Merced County Library and the Center for the Humanities at UC Merced will be hosting a Local Author Fair on the morning of Sept. 14, 2024 at Merced Library 2100 O Street, Merced. We are putting out this call for authors to participate - genres include but are not limited to: scholarly, fiction, non-fiction, teen, and children's books.
We will be offering tabling space for a select number of authors just outside the library, in a shaded area, where they can sell copies of their own books and also sign their books and interact with the fair's attendees. This event will be followed by a LitFest in downtown Merced in the afternoon, organized separately by UC Merced faculty, where local authors will read their work in downtown businesses. If you would like to participate in the author fair at the library, please fill out the webform below by July 26, 2024. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO AUG. 9.
